Follow the date and the storage line on your label. A blog cannot outrank that sticker.
Sterile medicines carry a beyond-use date and storage instructions for that container. USP standards sit behind those dates. Your vial or pen is not a generic object this article can time for you.
Refrigerate if the label says to, generally in the range people mean by a normal fridge, not in the door if the door swings warm, and not against a freezer wall that freezes the liquid. Freezing is not 'extra cold and therefore fine.'
A cold pack does not survive a summer afternoon on concrete, and a January porch can be its own problem. Have a person take the box inside the day it arrives. Hotel desks and apartment lobbies are where packages wait too long.
If you are unsure whether a dose got too warm or froze, do not guess and inject it. Ask the pharmacy or your clinician with the details. Replacing a dose is cheaper than using a ruined one.
