Primary & Urgent Care
Book a virtual doctor visit in minutes.
A virtual doctor visit is a scheduled video appointment with a licensed clinician. You talk, they ask, they may order labs or send a prescription, and they document it. It is an ordinary visit that happens to be on a screen, with the limits of a screen.
Write the question you actually want answered. Collect the medicines, including supplements. Photograph the rash in daylight. If this is a follow-up, know what changed since last time. Rambling is human. A list keeps the 45 minutes pointed at you.
Sit where you can be heard. Headphones help. A car in a parking lot is sometimes the only private room people have, and it is acceptable. A grocery line is not.
You should know the plan in one or two sentences: what was ordered, what to start or stop, and what would make you call sooner. If you do not, message and ask. Nodding through a plan you cannot repeat is how instructions vanish.
The portal holds the note. Local pharmacies hold the prescription. Labs hold the draw. Those are three places to check, not one.
A camera cannot listen to your lungs, feel an abdomen, or check a reflex, and an honest virtual doctor names those limits instead of bluffing past them. Most primary and urgent questions do not need those things, which is why video works for so much. The skill is knowing which visits are the exception and saying so out loud.
When the answer depends on hands or imaging, the visit turns into a referral, not a diagnosis, and that is the visit doing its job. A clinician who is willing to say 'this needs a room' is safer than one who will label anything from a webcam to keep you happy.
Continuity is the quiet advantage of virtual care done right. A clinician who already knows your thyroid dose, your last blood pressure, and the drug that gave you a rash spends the visit on your actual problem instead of re-collecting your life. Ask for the same person when you book the follow-up.
That thread is also how mistakes get caught: a number that drifted, a symptom that keeps returning, a medicine that stopped making sense. A one-off visit with a stranger can solve today's issue, but the ongoing relationship is what makes the pattern visible over months.
Treatment is provided through Jonathan Larson MDPC. Prescriptions require a clinical evaluation; medication is dispensed only when deemed medically necessary. Information here is educational and not a substitute for medical advice.
