So the useful comparison counts the whole plan: the visit, the follow-up, the labs, and the medicine together, against what a bare-medication offer actually includes. Ask what happens when something goes wrong, who answers, and whether adjustments cost extra. A number that looks high but covers the support you will need can be the cheaper choice over a year.
